First Easter Egg
April 11, 2004 - Jules certainly knows how to make a mess with
her first chocolate Easter egg. She wasn't sure what to do with it
at first, but quickly figured it out when she got her first taste of it.

First Birthday Party
March 27, 2004 - Our Jules turned 1 year old on March 23, but we
had her birthday party on Saturday March 27. She received beautiful
gifts and had a ball for herself. Click here for pictures.

First Steps
March 24, 2004 - One day after her first birthday, Julianna
took her first steps. Thankfully, nanny and poppy were here to
see it. She just seemed to do it out of the blue,
and once she got started she didn't stop. I'm sure applause from
4 silly adults keeps her going.

Ears Pierced
March 10, 2004 - I was waiting for mom and dad to arrive before I got
Julianna's ears pierced since poor ole Rob just couldn't be there when it happened. Jules
only cried briefly (thanks to a handy bottle of formula). They pierced both ears at the
same time, which is an excellent idea since I don't think she would have cooperated otherwise.

First Christmas
December 25, 2003 - Santa visited our house this year, although
Julianna is too young to know it. Her gifts were quickly forgotten while
she played with boxes and a large roasting pot that Rob gave me.

First Time Crawling
December 4, 2003 - Julianna made her first 3 strides one evening
while Rob & I were stuffing our mouths with pizza. We both happened
to look at her the same time, and were both flabbergasted. Since
that night she has been getting better and better; now we can't turn our
backs for a second and she's gone like the wind.

First Tooth
November 20, 2003 - Julianna was fussy for a few days so I decided to
have a scout around in her mouth, and low and behold, I felt a tooth just breaking
through her bottom gum. It took only a week or so for the tooth to make
its presence known and clearly visible to all.

First Halloween
October 31, 2003 - Julianna was a Bumble Bee for her first
Halloween. We went Trick Or Treating in the area to show
off our little angel.

First Time Standing (Using Inanimate Object)
September 27, 2003 - Since our wonder child could stand with
daddy's assistance, we figured, what the hell, lets try her on her own.
(Don't worry, daddy's arms weren't far away to catch her when she toppled over. )

First Time Standing (With Daddy's Assistance)
September 10, 2003 - One day, out of the blue, she locked those
tiny knees and she stood for us. It was nice that nanny and poppy Tricco
were there to witness it.

First Plane Ride
August 23, 2003 - We took our first trip home since Julianna
was born. Luckily the plane agreed with her. She slept pretty much
entire time, with several happy episodes in between. What a girl !!!

First Baby Food
July 13, 2003 - We got the OK from the doctor to try Julianna out on
some baby food. We figured we couldn't go wrong with Banana and
we were right...she just loves it

First Time Julianna Rolled Over
July 12, 2003 - Jules rolled from her stomach to her back on the kitchen
table just after her bath. Thankfully it was a Saturday so daddy
was home to see it

First Baby Cereal
May 27, 2003 - The formula just didn't seem to be filling her up anymore,
so the doctor gave us the go ahead to try her out on some rice cereal.
She took to it like a fish to water, and it's so cute watching her eat from
that tiny spoon

May 17, 2003 - We were sure if her previous smiles were actually smiles
or just gas...but this is definitely a smile :-)
